I’ve made the mistakes so you don’t have to.

A little about Angela…

After a decade in marketing and public relations at agencies I moved from Los Angeles to Austin and joined a mid-sized CPG brand called Genesis Today as the Director of Public Relations. Within my first six months I found myself flying from backstage at “The View” in New York to Bentonville, Arkansas to meet with Walmart with zero retail sales experience.

And, that described the next four years at Genesis Today where I wore a lot of hats and learned on the job - trial by fire. By the time I left Genesis Today I was Executive Vice President of the company overseeing marketing, sales and innovation.

I left Genesis to start a family and co-founded a supplement brand called Natural Citizen. We grew the company to over 1,000 retail doors, including Vitamin Shoppe and Sprouts. A couple of years after selling my interest in Natural Citizen, I co-founded a kid’s healthy-ish comfort food brand called Camp, which we sold to a public company in 2021.

In between company launches I started advising companies, which organically turned into consulting. I’ve had the honor of working with dozens of founders and companies of all stages. I am inspired by every founder I meet, and I become fully invested in their success. Most importantly, I know and understand the entrepreneurial journey in CPG.
